The hand-crafted Layered Seder
Plate conveys an atmosphere of
haste and simplicity, reminding us
of "Yitziyat Miyzraim" the Children
of Israel’s flight from Egyptian slavery.
The layers symbolize the generations
of Jewish people, that re-tell the
Passover story in the Seder ceremony.
Acquired as part of the permanent
collection by the Jewish Museum
in NY.
